Battle system took a moment to get used to, but feels like a mix between Chrono Cross, the manual parts of Final Fantasy XII, and Crisis Core--in an awesome way. The battle speed isn't nearly as overwhelming as it looked in the trailer. I'm amused at the irony of the black guy with the afro sounding like a comic-relief character, although technically, he acts very similar to Ando in Heroes. Lightning and Snow both seem awesome, and you do get to see Vanille, although you then get to go immediately into battle with Bahamut and I was viciously slaughtered. Don't know yet what the demo end is like, since I won't have time to try again until tomorrow at the earliest.

That sounds fun. Do you know if there will be a Demo version for the 360?
Not to my knowledge, which is why I went ahead and got the Japanese Advent Children Blu-Ray to get my demo. If I remember right, there's some sort of problem agreeing between xbox and sony about the demo, and that's why there's "no plans" for a demo outside of Japan. Who knows if that's actually true or not, though.
